No sabado passado, teve o Brazil Fest, aqui em Van. A unica coisa que identificava o Brazil Fest eram umas bexigas verde e amarela, e so!
Beijos!
Last Saturday, we had the Brazilian Fest here in Van. I was just walking through, so I stayed there for just about 5 minutes. However, I felt that it was a bit weak, besides the fact everybody was telling me it was greaaat! When I say weak it's because it seemed organized by amateurs. The only thing identifying it was a Brazilian festival were few green and yellow balloons. Well, the tents had some identification, explaining who they were, etc. I'm Brazilian and could tell what it was about, but I'm wondering if someone who doesn't know our culture and language very well would understand what it was all about.
There was a stage with a band playing typical Brazilian songs, and I liked the singer, very tuned! Oh, another thing I didn't like was the fact that the tents with food didn't have any food to sell! Sold out! Well, it means they sold a lot, right? That's a good thing! But I'm here hoping next time will be better!
Pictures below were taken with my cell phone camera, so the quality isn't very good! Kisses!
You can barely see it in the picture, but there is a stage there.
