Essa foto ta estranha, mas eh da ponte, com uma cortina de fogos. This pic is weird, but it's the bridge with a curtain of sparkles coming out of it.

Essas duas ultimas fotos foram tiradas da minha varanda, a noite, durante um dos light shows (sao 2 diariamente ate o ultimo dia do festival). These two last pictures were taken from my balcony, during one of the light shows (there are 2 daily until the last day of the festival).

Brisbane Festival

Brisbane Festival eh um dos principais festivais da Australia e um evento cultural que acontece na cidade anualmente. O primeiro aconteceu em 1996 como uma iniciativa para promover as artes, e neste ano, eles contam com mais de 400 performances - internacionais e nacionais - entre elas: danca, teatro, opera, musica classica e contemporanea, artes visuais, circo e sideshows.


Ah, se tiverem a oportunidade, nao percam a queima de fogos no dia de abertura e tambem o Santos City of Lights (show de luzes). Para ver os horarios do show de luzes, visitem o site abaixo.

Brisbane Festival is one of Australia's premier festivals and Brisbane's annual cultural event. It has been held since 1996 as an initiative to foster the arts and this year, more than 400 performances -international and national - embrace dance, theatre, opera, classical and contemporary music, visual arts, circus and sideshows.

Ontem, teve fogos aqui em Brisbane e foi bem maneiro! Fomos assistir em SouthBank e teve 2 queimas, uma as 20h30 para as familias com criancas, que talvez nao pudessem ficar acordadas ate mais tarde (achei bem legal essa atitude!) e outra a meia-noite, claro! Postarei algumas fotos de ontem, mas voces sabem ne? Fotos de fogos de artificio sao sempre a mesma coisa, entao nao tem nada de demais! rs

Yesterday there were fireworks here in Brisbane and it was really cool! We watched it from SouthBank and there were 2 different shows, one at 20h30 for the families with kids, that maybe wouldn't be able to stay up until the main show at midnight, which was the second one (I thought it was a great idea!). Here are some pics from last night. But you know, fireworks pics are always the same, so there's nothing spectacular! lol
