Last weekend was a long weekend here in Canada, Labour Day, and in consequence there were lots of festivities happening in the country, including the Taiwanese Fest in downtown Vancouver.
What impressed me was the organization and cleanness of this fest. The volunteers (most of them were elderly) always very helpful, and to each little thing people would throw on the ground, they would go there, pick it up and throw it in the recycling bin, which by the way were installed in many different points of the party.
What attracts people to those festivals are the typical food they sell, isn't it? Even with their long lines, these booths were a success. If in the Brazilian Fest the food was sold out, here it wasn't!
E pra terminar, os shows musicais.
To end this post, the musical shows. I don't know who's is the band or what they were singing. But there was an entertained crowd listening to them and also the singer was wearing a Zorro mask, so I decided to post it! lol
